Chalice with paten

An impressive chalice crafted from solid brass and hand-chiselled.
The base features a depiction of the phoenix, which in ancient Christian symbolism represents the Resurrection of Christ.
Around the cup are scenes depicting the Infant Jesus with the Virgin Mary, Jesus instituting the Eucharist, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.
The central knot features Eucharistic symbols.
The chalice is complemented by an ornate paten, also made of solid brass and featuring chiselled detailing.
